Trip Information
Difficulties
Trek difficulties rank ‘easy’ or ‘light’ as you will hike uphill and downhill gently, with an average hiking duration from 4 to 7 hours per day. There is only a steep ascent near Namche Bazaar but you get good views of the Himalayas so it is worth your effort.
Elevation
The maximum elevation you will get to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) but the highest elevation you will stay the night is 3,440m so there is a low risk of altitude sickness.
Variations
If you have 1-2 more days, we recommend continuing the hike to Tengboche monasteries, sit on top of the ridge at the elevation of 3,867m, the monastery is the largest in Khumbu. The tradition passed from the Rongbuk monastery in Tibet.
