Itinerary

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and go to the hotel in Thamel, a popular area of Kathmandu.

Spend the day at UNESCO’s World Heritage site, Pashupatinath, Nepal’s biggest Buddhist stupa, and the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath.

Take a jeep to Syabru Bensi on the northern route, which zigzags and climbs over mountain ridges with breathtaking views of the mountains and rice fields for 7-8 hours. We will have beautiful sights of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himalaya if the weather is good.

Get your trekking permit at the police station then cross a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River that flows down from Tibet. The trail to Bamboo continues beside the Langtang River, where there are a few falls, before climbing through the subtropical forest toward Bamboo. The trails go up from there to Rimche and conclude at the Changtang known as the Lama Hotel, which is located above these mountains.

High above the Langtang Khola, on a trail that leads through wild woodlands of hemlocks, oaks, and rhododendrons, we trek. The first view of Langtang Lirung (7,244m) from the trees near the military checkpoint. From the Information Center, follow a route up through the U-shaped glacier valley to the Tamang villages of Thangshyap, Gompa, and finally to the large settlement of Langtang (3430m), which is the headquarters of Langtang National Park.

Set out on a trek to Kyanjin Gompa, where we will stay for two nights.

From here, we encounter peaceful Buddhist monasteries and two well-known government cheese factories.

Hiking up to the glaciers of moraine for supper view of Langtang Lirung or ascending Kyanjin Ri (4,350m) viewpoint are the more challenging options. Hiking up to Tserko Ri (5,000m) is another alternative option for spectacular mountain views. For more stunning mountain vistas, you can hike Langshisa kharka.

Today’s walk leads through rhododendron forests to Ganja La Phedi along the Langtang River.

The Ganja La is a tough day’s walk that is covered in snow throughout the year, making it difficult at times owing to snowfall and ice. Parties should be ready for chilly at any time on top of the pass, which offers views of the Langtang Lirung and snowy peak of Shisha Pangma. Descending to Keldang after the pass.

Set out for the trek through the tiny forest to explore Helambu’s picturesque village of Sermathang, which is a unique circumstance to see typical mountain life.

Follow the directions below to end your trek at Malemchi Puul Bazar, then drive to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner with Nepalese cuisine and traditional dancing.

At the end of the trip, our representative will drop you off at the airport where you can catch your flight back.
